UNSOED Account is an Account Linking & Single Sign-On (SSO) system for Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. It allows all members of the academic community — students, lecturers, and staff — to have a single personal account connected to all their institutional identities (student ID, employee ID, unit email) and use it to access all Unsoed digital services.
All members of the Unsoed academic community, including: active students (using their student ID/NIM), lecturers and staff (using their employee ID/NIP), and unit managers who have an institutional account in the Unsoed LDAP system.
A personal account is the account you create on UNSOED Account using your personal email (e.g., Gmail). An institutional account is the account provided by Unsoed (e.g., SIA account for students or SIHURA for staff). UNSOED Account links both so you only need to log in once with your personal account to access all services.

Click the 'Register' button on the homepage, then enter your personal email and create a password. You can also sign up faster using your Google account. After your account is created, proceed to link your institutional account.

Yes, UNSOED Account can be accessed from any browser on any device — computer, laptop, phone, or tablet — as long as it is connected to the internet.
After logging in, go to 'Link Account' menu. Enter your institutional account username and password (student ID/NIM for students, employee ID/NIP for staff). The system will validate your credentials directly against the Unsoed LDAP server. If valid, your institutional account will be linked to your personal account.
You can link more than one institutional account to your personal account. For example, a lecturer who is also a PhD student can link both their lecturer account (NIP) and student account (NIM) at the same time.
No. The linking process only needs to be done once. After your institutional account is linked, you simply select the identity you want to use when logging in to different applications.
Go to 'Link Account' menu on the dashboard, select the institutional account you want to unlink, then click 'Unlink'. Please note that after unlinking, SSO access to related services will be disabled.
Currently the system supports: student accounts (SIA/NIM), staff/lecturer accounts (SIHURA/NIP), and work unit accounts. All validation is done through the Unsoed LDAP.
No. Your institutional account password is never stored in the UNSOED Account system. Every account linking process validates credentials directly against the Unsoed LDAP server and the result is not recorded. LDAP remains the single source of truth for institutional accounts.
Use the 'Institutional Password Reset' feature available on the login page. Enter your NIM or NIP, and the system will send an OTP to your institutional email for verification before you can create a new password.
Security is our top priority. The system implements: (1) direct validation against LDAP without storing institutional passwords, (2) OAuth2 access tokens with limited expiration, (3) encrypted refresh tokens, and (4) all communication using HTTPS.
Immediately change your personal account password through the 'Settings' menu. If you suspect any misuse, contact ICT Unsoed for further assistance.
SSO is a mechanism that allows you to log in once at UNSOED Account and immediately access various other connected applications without needing to log in again. The technology used is OAuth2 based on Laravel Passport, an industry standard used by many major services.
All Unsoed digital applications that have been integrated with the UNSOED Account system, such as SIA, academic portal, library, student portal, and more. A complete list of applications is available on the 'Applications' page.

Yes, OAuth2 access tokens have a limited lifespan as a security measure. The system automatically refreshes tokens using refresh tokens to ensure a smooth user experience. You only need to log in again if your session has been inactive for a long time.
